Dr. Marlow Hernandez is the co-founder and CEO of Soran Health. Previously, he founded and led Cano Health to encompass 170 medical centers and nearly 400,000 patients. He also established American Choice Healthcare (an ACO REACH participant), serving tens of thousands of Medicare beneficiaries.
A Cuban native who immigrated in 1993, Dr. Hernandez holds a bachelor's degree in neuroscience from the University of Miami, a medical degree from Nova Southeastern, and completed his medical residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida. Specializing in Internal and Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, he also earned an MBA, MPH, multiple board certifications, faculty roles, and became a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Hernandez focuses his clinical practice on minimally invasive treatment of venous disease, having performed over ten thousand procedures. His U.S. healthcare impact has been recognized with multiple honors including a U.S. Capitol flag, a proclamation by the State of Nevada and a lifetime achievement award by the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
