Pedro Cordero

Chief Financial Officer

Pedro Cordero is a healthcare executive with over 20 years of leadership experience at organizations including Cano Health, Palm Medical Centers, and Van Teal Inc. Born in a small town in Cuba to blue-collar parents with no higher education, Pedro crossed the Gulf of Mexico with his family in a 24-hour journey, arriving in Key West at age 14.

He went on to build a strong career, most recently serving as Chief Population Health Officer at Cano Health. There, he led clinical integration, physician performance, and population health initiatives for over 350,000 patients. He played a key role in growing revenue from $200M to $2.7B and guiding the company’s public listing on the NYSE.

Before this, Pedro spent over a decade driving success in post-acquisition integration, long-range planning, strategic execution, business expansion, cost containment, and capital raises in roles with Palm Medical Centers, Van Teal Inc., Access Tools Inc., G & B Wholesalers, and Commodore Aviation Inc.



Pedro holds both a Master’s and Bachelor's in Accounting from Florida International University and enjoys baseball and time with his wife and two children in Florida.
